Lately I have really loved paining my finger nails. I used to have acrylic nails but it got to be too expensive and time consuming to keep up with. Every Sunday Craig and I watch a movie together and I paint my fingernails. I took a quick snapshot of my nails with my phone to show you what they look like this week. A fun new thing I have used are the Sally Hansen Polish Strips. (which I have on my thumb and ring finger) They have lots of fun patterns and it actually lasts longer than regular nail polish with a topcoat.Pinterest has definitely been my inspiration in deciding how to polish my nails lately. I wish I would’ve taken more pictures of things that I’ve done. Instead I’ll share some of my favorites from pinterest and their appropriate image credit with tutorial links.

Image Credit: Lyndar the Merciless this is one of my current faves that I have done many varieties of pretty much every other week. I really love the neutral colors!

Image Credit: Take a Seat on the Shotgun Side you use nail polish, rubbing alcohol and newspaper to achieve this look! I’ve been looking for the perfect newspaper design (I want to do more than just words) to try this one on.
Image Credit: All Lacquered Up this is a couple different kinds of nail polish marbled in water! I trick is to use cuticle oil on your skin around the nail and under your nail so the polish doesn’t stick. I tried this and it was awesome!
Tomorrow I will get back to a photography post but I wanted to share something fun and random about me.
